If you will be travelling from London by an early “Eurostar” service, but live far from London and cannot reach St. Pancras the same day, we have hotel accommodation at the Union Jack Club, just across the road from Waterloo (with easy Underground connection to St. Pancras), starting at £38.50 for a basic single room – exceptional value nowadays for Central London.

Trainseurope Limited acts as an agent for a number of hotel booking services such as Octopus Travel and Hotel Connect and cannot be held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies in the information provided by them. We accept fully only errors made by ourselves.

It is the responsibility of the hotel supplier to deal with complaints and Trainseurope Limited will be happy to pass on any adverse comments (or praise) from our customers provided it is received in writing by us. These suppliers are often owned by even bigger concerns and thus the chain of authority is long and difficult to follow. We cannot enforce the hotel agency to act upon such information, nor, in turn, can they force the hotel to obey. However, any hotel receiving a poor review would no doubt be looked on by the hotel booking agent with extreme displeasure should they continue to receive complaints and thus they should rectify any problems quickly. We cannot make the agency or the hotel reply in writing to either our clients or ourselves and although the complaint will be passed on without fail, there cannot be any further correspondence on the matter.

Any customer having a minor complaint with a hotel should try to rectify the matter directly with the Manager of the establishment at the time. In the event of a bigger problem where satisfaction cannot be obtained, you are strongly recommended to telephone us whilst you are there. We can then try to get something done immediately. Please do not telephone us with minor complaints; this procedure is only for circumstances where severe problems have occurred. Otherwise please wait until you return to lodge a complaint.

We do not inspect any of the hotels we offer nor have we any authority over them or the services they provide. We cannot contact any hotel directly.

Such happenings are very rare indeed and Trainseurope Limited wish all our customers a pleasant stay in their chosen hotel.
